Thank you for your interest in supporting Maine Mountain Children's House. As a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, we rely on the generosity of our community to help support and enrich the unique educational experience we provide. Every gift, regardless of size, helps us reach our mission of fostering respect and responsibility to self, others, and the Earth in children aged 18 months to 6 years old in our Montessori classrooms and childcare center, and through age 9 in our after school care program.
2025/2026 Annual Giving Fund
Maine Mountain Children’s House is turning 20! MMCH was established in 2006 by its original Director and Lead Teacher Samantha Wright. Sam built the school’s foundation, putting years of effort into offering a Montessori educational experience with an emphasis on fostering the growth of the whole child and creating a connection to the natural world that surrounds them. The first class consisted of eight children, and has since grown to up to 30 children across two Montessori classrooms, from ages 18 months through six years old. In celebration of 20 years of service in our community, we are launching our first Annual Giving Campaign with a goal of $10,000 by the end of the 2025/2026 school year!
Help us meet our goal today; your annual gift is essential, enabling us to maintain our lower student-to-teacher ratios, provide specialized Montessori materials, support student scholarships, grow our outdoor classroom, and foster the core values of respect and responsibility to self, others, and the Earth. By contributing today, you ensure we can sustain our high-quality programs and trained teachers, giving every young child the foundation they need to thrive.
