The toddler program is designed to introduce children ages 18 to 36 months to a Montessori classroom with materials specifically designed to meet their developmental needs. Our toddler classroom aims to nurture the young child’s budding independence while our Montessori trained and certified teacher models and encourages respect to self, others, and the environment. In the toddler room, children are provided a safe, warm, and carefully prepared space to explore and discover.

Our primary program serves children ages 3 through 6 years old in a prepared environment based on Dr. Maria Montessori’s research and teachings. The primary classroom emphasizes following the child, and respecting each child’s individual needs and developmental pace. We value the beauty of the multi-age classrooms where younger children learn from older children, and older children gain confidence through helping younger children.

After school care (ASC) is offered from 3:00pm -5:00pm Monday through Thursday during the academic year. ASC takes place primarily outdoors (weather permitting) and allows for supervised, unstructured play in a safe and fun environment.

This program is available for enrolled children between the ages of 18 months and 6 years old, as well as siblings, MMCH alumni, and KES elementary students up to age 8.
