MMCH offers a comprehensive summer program Monday-Thursday from 7:30am-5:00pm for enrolled and non-enrolled children. This program is nature-based, filled with outside play, work in the outdoor classroom, art projects, cooking projects, yoga, and weekly adventures to Webster Library, the Kingfield Town Park, and the west branch of the Carrabassett River just down the road from us! Our goal is to offer a summer filled with fresh air and cool water, busy mornings and quiet afternoons, adventure and consistency, mud kitchens and a clean classroom, and above all...WONDER.
The summer program runs from July 1 until August 8th (closed Thursday, July 4th for Independence Day).
All children between age 2.5 and 8 are welcome; including siblings, cousins, friends visiting, friends enrolled in other school programs during the year, etc. We ask that children are toilet trained and are exhibiting an ability and desire to be independent and follow simple, age-appropriate classroom guidelines.
